500 Days of Summer Soundtrack (all songs played in film)
Update: Read and link to our official 500 Days of Summer Soundtrack page. That page contains the official soundtrack track listing, FAQs, and will be continuously updated with new details about the soundtrack. The post below contains the entire list of the songs that play during 500 Days of Summer.
While there is a lot of buzz around the film, the songs of 500 Days of Summer have also getting quite a bit of attention. Jarett Wieselman from nypost.com said “500 Days of Summer Will Have 2009’s Best Soundtrack. Mark My Words.” From the looks of the killer soundtrack below, I think Jarett might be right.
Besides Sweet Disposition by the The Temper Trap, featured in the 500 Days teaser trailer, the soundtrack features Regina Spektor, The Smiths, Wolfmother, Spoon, Doves, even Simon & Garfunkel among many others.
Slashfilm has done an amazing job of manually tracking down all the songs from the movie to create an unofficial track listing. Thanks to Slashfilm! The soundtrack has been recreated below for your convenience!
We could be hearing the best soundtrack of 2009 soon. What do you think?

I’M FROM ARGENTINA, DO YOU HAVE IDEA WHEN THIS MOVIE IS GOING TO BE RELEASED HERE?
G. on Feb 4, 2009

Marc on Feb 5, 2009
Wow, that’s great soundtrack…, the script has some of those songs in the descriptions, so while I was reading the script, i was searching and playing the music, to feel more “into the movie”, you know?
hey, I have a question…, if the movie gets leaked out before july 24th, would you put a download link?, because, sometimes I search for any CAM version of the movie (maybe somebody went to sundance with a hidden camera xD!)
No luck…yet
but, maybe you have better way of searching, if you find it, would you let us know?
Charly on Feb 8, 2009

You run a great blog! I always come here first for any updates ;)
Oh, and I apologize for both hotlinking and not posting your blog on the topic I made at soompi.com
It was about 3AM when I made the post, I wasn’t thinking =( Sometimes my internet etiquette is…how shall we say, not the best? I rarely make topics of my own, but I was just so excited about the movie and forgot about the rules =(
Anyway I have now posted a link to your blog and removed the pictures so hopefully more people will filter on down here.
Sorry again!

Hi everyone,
I saw a clip of 500 Days yesterday (11 June) that I’m trying to find again. I’m pretty sure I saw it on MSN. It was of JGL in character singing “Here Comes Your Man” at a karaoke bar and Zooey’s character was cheering him on.
Honest to God, I’ve looked everywhere for that clip…MSN, You Tube, checked my browser history, Googled just about every combo of words I can think of… does anyone have a link to that clip?!?!!? I’m dying to see it again.
If you have a link to it and you could post it on this thread, I would be forever in your debt.
Thanks,
Cat
