Share your 500 Days of Summer Micro-Review!
Share your micro-review and be featured on 500DOS.net, a new site that allows fans who have seen the film to post their reviews of 500 Days of Summer. The catch? The reviews must not exceed 140 characters! All reviews are posted via Twitter and Facebook. (Cool integration.)
Trying to get all your thoughts down to a concise 140 characters will be pretty difficult, but if you’ve seen 500 Days then take a stab at composing your own micro-review. I can’t wait to read everyone’s posts on the site.
Wait, you haven’t seen 500 Days of Summer yet? You’ve got the opportunity to catch a free screening near you before the July 17th release.
May 27th, 2009Interested in Seeing 500 Days of Summer for FREE?
Then I recommend you RSVP immediately.
I don’t know how typical mass-screenings like these are but Fox Searchlight has currently opened up registration to see 500 Days of Summer for free at select theaters with multiple screenings at various theaters throughout the US: New Orleans, Memphis, Denver, Houston, Austin, Kansas City, Cleveland, Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse, Albany, San Antonio, Minneapolis, Seattle, Chicago and Portland. Some of the earliest screenings I saw were on July 7th. June 8th!
Seats are obviously limited so I recommend you spread the word quickly and RSVP right away. Tweet this post and send the link to friends, I’ll update this post later today with more details that I hope to receive from Fox Searchlight, though perhaps by then there will be no remaining seats!
Post a comment below to let us know where you’ll be seeing 500 Days of Summer this summer for free! Just to throw it out there, I’ll be at the July 8th screening in Buffalo.
Update: All screenings are in the afternoon/ evening: any 7:30am times listed are in fact in the evening (PM)! The system was suffering through some glitches on its first day.
Update (May 28): Keep checking back for more cities and more screenings! Toronto, Washington DC, New York, Dallas and Los Angeles have recently been added.
