New Official (500) Days of Summer Poster for the UK

Empire has exclusively posted the UK poster and promo for 500 Days of Summer.

As you can tell from the fact that neither of those people is called Matthew McConaughey, this may be romantic(ish) but it’s an indie film rather than the usual sort of rom-com.

Expert panel critiques the 500 Days of Summer poster

The bright and “Summery” poster for 500 Days of Summer was on the judging block in front a panel of experts recently.

“You have one second” to capture a viewer, says Jeffrey Bacon, an advisory board member for Hollywood’s Key Art Awards. “One second with no sound, no movement, no dialogue — it’s one of the most challenging ways of advertising.”

Official poster released today! “500 Zooeys”

Based on votes from fans like you, Fox Searchlight has chosen the official poster for 500 Days of Summer. Please don’t start stealing these from your local movie theatres, I’m sure there will be some legitimate way to get your hands on one.

500 Days of Summer Theatrical Posters
