500 Days of Summer Blog
This is the very first post on the 500 Days of Summer blog, hello!
I immediately became a big fan of 500 Days of Summer after watching the trailer just a couple of weeks ago. After spending some time searching, I discovered that 500 Days isn’t being promoted too heavily online (or in print media) yet and I wanted to provide a complete resource for fans of the upcoming film!
I’m excited to start posting new information about 500 Days. You can count on me to have the newest details about the movie as they are released to the public. If you find any information that isn’t already posted here, please shoot me an email and I’ll make sure you get credit when I post it.
Enjoy the first resource dedicated to 500 Days of Summer! :-)

Just saw a special preview of the film and a discussion by Marc Webb at Florida State University in Tallahassee FL on February 28th. The movie is great and hopefully will be distributed wide enough to get a great word of mouth movement going.
Very creative film with wonderful soundtrack.

Wendy– it’s too bad you didn’t leave an email address. If you wanted to write a short review of the film from your perspective and a summary of Marc Webb’s discussion I would be thrilled to post it on this site! Please send me an email ;-)

When I saw the first teaser I really loved it and I couldn’t stop watching it! Now I’m very thrilled about the movie, even if I don’t know if it’ll be released in Italy, or when… Really can’t wait for it.

It’s funny for me because I haven’t seen the movie and still I’m so excited about it! And I’m also not sure if it’ll come out in Poland (or when?) but… I’ll live with the trailers in then.
Thanks for the site!

Is there a book behind this film. Seems like it would make a good book. :-)

Fantastic movie. So glad I saw it. Changed my view on “love stories.” Felt emotionally charged after the movie was over. Empowered. This movie possibly changed my life. :o)

I am trying to find a copy of the poster in the film “bon chat, bon rat”. It is apparently from a 1909 French film. Does anyone know how to purchase this poster?

I liked the storyboard very unique, HOWEVER its such a cop out to write about “that nice guy” who’s basically “a pussy” as a small female character put it. And i don’t really get the whole, “greeting card company is holding main character back” plot? Most people that quit their jobs and go for their dreams fail. If the story continued it would probably be that guy in another dead end relationship with a manwife as a girlfriend, and after he’s been rejected by all architectural companies because he has no experience and no masters, he interns for the next 2 years until he gets a job copying blue prints for the next 20 years until he’s laid off just before retirement. Welcome to real life people, not this “fate vs choice” bullsh*t. Its more like “environment vs circumstance vs materialism”! BTW thanks for the soundtrack list on the site, i like Mumm Ra.
