New Clip: 500 Days of Summer Bar Scene

Here’s a new, exclusive clip from 500 Days of Summer that is sure to play wherever you are. The new clip is from a scene in a bar “in which Deschanel explains that she’s not interested in having a boyfriend, to the disappointment of Gordon-Levitt and the befuddlement of Geoffrey Arend”.

Exclusive: Joe Gordon-Levitt Gets a Reason to Dance in 500 Days of Summer

The film doesn’t open until July 17, but we’ve nabbed an exclusive clip of Joseph bee-bopping to Hall and Oates’ classic ’80s tune “You Make My Dreams Come True.” Press play above and read what Joseph had to say about romantic comedies and heartbreak after the jump.

Hot dogs and ice cream and freebies oh my!

Video: Behind the Scenes of 500 Days of Summer

Access Hollywood has released a short behind the scenes video for 500 Days of Summer! It has quick interviews with Zooey Deschanel, Joe Gordon-Levitt and director Marc Webb and features many new, great clips from the film (including some Matthew Gray Gubler love.)

I like romantic comedy as a genre but I think it can get really very stuck in its ways and I so excited to read a script for a romantic comedy that was really fresh and different. — Zooey Deschanel

European premiere of 500 Days of Summer

500 Days of Summer will be the opening film at the Locarno Film Festival in Switzerland. The festival begins August 5th with 500 Days screening on the Piazza Grande and ends a week and a half later on August 15th.

Looks like the European release rate for 500 Days of Summer will be sometime this fall.

Listen: Carla Bruni – Quelqu’un m’a dit

A taste of the 500 Days of Summer soundtrack, which will be released July 14th. I really can’t wait to get my hands on it and just go for a drive with the windows down. It’s the perfect album for Summer.
