May 28th, 2009Share your 500 Days of Summer Micro-Review!
Share your micro-review and be featured on 500DOS.net, a new site that allows fans who have seen the film to post their reviews of 500 Days of Summer. The catch? The reviews must not exceed 140 characters! All reviews are posted via Twitter and Facebook. (Cool integration.)
Trying to get all your thoughts down to a concise 140 characters will be pretty difficult, but if you’ve seen 500 Days then take a stab at composing your own micro-review. I can’t wait to read everyone’s posts on the site.
Wait, you haven’t seen 500 Days of Summer yet? You’ve got the opportunity to catch a free screening near you before the July 17th release.
May 27th, 2009Expert panel critiques the 500 Days of Summer poster
The bright and “Summery” poster for 500 Days of Summer was on the judging block in front a panel of experts recently.
“You have one second” to capture a viewer, says Jeffrey Bacon, an advisory board member for Hollywood’s Key Art Awards. “One second with no sound, no movement, no dialogue — it’s one of the most challenging ways of advertising.”
See what Andrew Percival, the designer of the 500 Days of Summer poster, and the other experts had to say about their “one second” in The Washington Post (via projo.com).
Your turn: What’s first to pop into your mind when viewing the 500 Days of Summer poster?

The MTV Movies Blog has just posted a so-called exclusive clip of 500 Days of Summer. I have an inkling that this is the scene of Summer and Tom (Deschanel and Gordon-Levitt) running through IKEA. Check out the clip below for yourself:
Unfortunately I live in Canada and can’t watch the clip… so help me out and please describe the scene in the comments below!
