Tickets to see 500 Days of Summer on April 21st at the Atlanta Film Festival are still available, though I have no idea how long they will last. This screening is sure to sell out. If you live anywhere near Georgia, gather up some friends and make the road trip (especially considering it’s an evening show!) Tickets are only $10 and can be purchased online.

The Atlanta Film Festival runs from April 16-25. All the best for a successful festival! Are any 500days.com readers heading out to the festival?

Interview with Zooey Deschanel at SxSW

Another great clip from Gordon and the Whale. Here’s what James Wallace had to say about his interview with 500 Days of Summer’s Summer:

The interviews we are given are always a privilege, but every once in awhile one comes along that is special. When it is for a film that truly affected me. When it is with a director or actors I really admire. When it is with people that I can connect with on a level more than interviewer/interviewee. For me, the interviews for (500) DAYS OF SUMMER with Director Marc Webb, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Zooey Deschanel were that kind of special.

Update: Gordon and the Whale has posted their face-to-face interviews with Marc Webb and Joseph Gordon-Levitt as well!

video posted: 500 Days of Summer Q&A from SXSW

Thanks to James Wallace from gordon and the whale dot com for filming and posting the Q&A that followed the 500 Days of Summer screening at South by Southwest. “Check out their post-film Q&A for what not to do if you are in a giant theater and you want to ask Zooey D. out on a date.” The panel consists of writers Scott Neustadter and Michael Weber, Matthew Gray Gubler (who plays Paul), Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Zooey Deschanel, and director Marc Webb.

Some of the topics that are covered include some of the inspiration for the film, how some music was chosen and symbolism behind the color blue. Definitely a Q&A directed to people who have already seen the film (obviously) but enjoyable either way!

Just over 18 minutes. Video after the break below.

Zooey Deschanel on the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson

Last night Zooey Deschanel made an appearance on the Late Late Show. No talk of 500 Days of Summer but it’s certainly an enjoyable interview and I have a feeling there are one or two Zooey Deschanel fans reading this. Enjoy it now, I’m not sure how long this YouTube video will stay online.

KTSW 89.9 FM Interviews 500 Days of Summer at SXSW

Jonathan Valdez over at KTSQ, an Austin radio station, got the opportunity to interview Marc Webb, Zooey Deschanel and Joseph Gordon-Levitt at South by Southwest. There are three separate interviews and they are all entertaining to listen to. I link to them in mp3 format after the break so they’re great to listen to while you’re commuting or just doing the dishes.
