The Hollywood Podcast interviews 500 Days of Summer director Marc Webb
The Hollywood Podcast, hosted by actor/ writer Tim Coyne, has just posted an interview with 500 Days of Summer director Marc Webb. It’s a great interview just over fifteen minutes long and Marc gives us a nice intro into how 500 Days really “works,” for those of us who haven’t seen it.

Exhilarating video posted a couple hours ago by Fox Searchlight! We follow Marc Webb on the day of the 500 Days of Summer premiere at Sundance. It’s almost a day in the life of Marc Webb (minus the actual showing of the film and the after-parties, of course.) Seriously though, it’s very cool to see the premiere through a very different perspective. Watching the video, I think I felt just as anxious as Marc did leading up to the actual showing (I think that had something to do with The Temper Trap playing.)
January 29th, 2009New photos of 500 Days of Summer cast
A bunch of cool photos have just been released from the “500 Days of Summer” Party at the EW Lodge during the Sundance Film Festival. The party happened on January 17, 2009 in Park City, Utah. This is a great look at some of the key cast that we haven’t seen a lot of photos of so far.
Check the captions for details on who’s in the photo and, if they’re an actor, what character they play.
Joseph Gordon-Levitt (Tom), director Marc Webb and a new face (to this site.) On the right is Matthew Gray Gubler who plays Paul, one of Tom's best friends. Paul works with Tom at the greeting card company and is with Tom throughout a lot of his relationship with Summer.
500 Days of Summer Video Clips
Two video clips of 500 Days of Summer were quietly released to /Flim this week. The clips do a good job of juxtaposing the many different emotions that happen throughout the film. Clearly these two moments happen at very different times in Summer and Tom’s relationship. The clips give us a nice indication of the good chemistry between Zooey Deschanel and Joseph Gordon-Levitt and it also gives us a peak at the cinematography of the film. In this first clip, Tom tells Summer about his real passion (surprisingly not writing greeting cards) and Summer lets us in on her hilarious nickname in school.

January 28th, 2009High res photos from 500 Days of Summer teaser trailer
I managed to get my hands on a high resolution version of the 500 Days of Summer teaser trailer. (If anyone’s interested I’ll dig up the link to download it.) The teaser trailer contains a ton of fast paced shots which gives us little time to appreciate the different scenes that are featured. These stills are 1280 x 720 pixels, so they can make great desktop backgrounds for 500 Days. Be sure to also check out the second post of screencaps featuring Zooey Deschanel.
